About the Role
Fresh Prep is a Canadian sustainable meal kit delivery company serving locations all across Canada. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will set up, run, and maintain our portioning and packaging machinery to ensure high-quality ingredients are packed safely and efficiently for our meal kits.

What You’ll Be Doing
Set up, calibrate, operate, and clean single-use food portioning and packaging machines.
Package food items according to weekly recipe specifications and staging finished goods for distribution.
Maintain strict allergen segregation, conduct routine quality checks, and keep your station clean and compliant with food safety standards.
Log daily output, inventory checks, and machine metrics using Google Sheets / Excel.
Perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and end-of-shift station cleanup.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience operating or maintaining packaging/portioning machinery in a fast-paced environment (food or manufacturing preferred).
Familiarity with basic spreadsheet data entry (Excel or Google Sheets).
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and work comfortably on your feet in a cold production environment (0–4°C).
Strong work ethic, great communication skills, and a commitment to showing up on time for your team.
