Reports to: Sewing Lead / Sewing Manager
Job Summary: Set up and maintain sewing machines and equipment, ensuring efficient production and smooth machine operation in collaboration with the production team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain sewing machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair sewing machines and equipment as needed
- Ensure that all machines are running efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all machines are set up correctly
- Train new employees on how to use sewing machines and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair sewing machines and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
