Key Responsibilities
- Sell core integrated solutions for installation projects, including building strategic accounts and cross-selling
- Evaluate and target potential customer opportunities across the marketplace
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets (education, healthcare, industrial, commercial buildings)
- Build relationships with consultants, key owners, building managers, contractors, and vendor partners to generate new business
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry associations
- Translate customer needs into customized proposals, solutions, and project plans
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Proactively negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients (payment timelines, milestones, mobilization) and assist with collections as needed
- Review scope of work and contract terms, including cost control, delivery, and quality of service
- Communicate clear project requirements to the execution team and broader organization
- Identify and mitigate project risks to control cost and schedule deviations
- Proactively communicate project status and changes to customers, driving satisfaction
- Strong sales skills and the ability to uncover effective customer solutions

- Solid understanding of IT networking principles
- Minimum 5 years of account development/sales experience, OR 5+ years of security industry-focused operations experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in a technology-focused industry preferred (e.g., Audio Visual, Print Solutions, Elevator Technologies, SaaS, Managed Services)
- Familiarity with access control/security platforms an asset (Lenel, Genetec, CCure, AMAG & similar)
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
