Position Details

Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Status: Full-time

Salary: $22.00–$25.00 per hour

Schedule: Rotating weekday shifts between 9:00 am–4:00 pm and 11:00 am–7:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays from 9:00 am–1:00 pm

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who brings compassion, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for preventive medicine. What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to patients
  • Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Perform technical nursing duties appropriate to your training and credentials
  • Safely handle and restrain patients while prioritizing their comfort and well-being
  • Collect and prepare diagnostic samples for testing
  • Assist with digital radiography and in-house laboratory diagnostics
  • Support preventive-care visits and educate clients about their pets’ health
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
  • Work closely with veterinarians and fellow team members to support efficient patient care
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment areas
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive hospital culture


What You’ll Bring

  • Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technology College Diploma
  • Registered Veterinary Technician credential, or eligibility to become registered, as required in Ontario
  • Hands-on animal-care experience
  • Positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and coworkers
  • Passion for people, pets, and preventive medicine
  • Enthusiasm for continued learning and professional development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a fun, friendly, and busy veterinary team
  • Experience with AVImark veterinary software is an asset
  • One or more years of veterinary clinic experience preferred
  • One or more years of customer service experience preferred
