What Will I do?
- Troubleshoot and diagnose common and diverse plumbing problems accurately and efficiently.
- Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding code standards.
- Water heater repair and replacement.
- Fixture replacement (to include faucets, tubs, showers, and toilets).
- Drain cleaning.
- Competent use of conventional sewer machines.
- Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area.
- Educate and offer the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time.
- Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC, plumbing or electrical systems.
- Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments.
- Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
- Document work completed with before and after photos.
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle.
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer.
- Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods.
- Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
- Work with apprentices to coach and mentor.
The following is REQUIRED for consideration
- A minimum of 4 years residential plumbing service & repair experience in all aspects of the plumbing system.
- Strong residential service experience and strong trouble shooting skills.
- Working knowledge of city codes.
- Leak Location and Repair knowledge.
- Integrity and the ability to promote a positive company image.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Results driven in a high-energy environment.
- Detail oriented with good time management skills.
- Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device.
- Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights.
- Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
