Currently looking for a full-time Daytime FOH Assistant Manager. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic food & guest service professional to join our team at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli - Kailua Town!
The Daytime FOH Assistant Manager position requires a genuine interest in each guests' and employees' experience during their time with us...most importantly they perpetuate our culture of a friendly neighborhood cafe!
Duties Will Include
- Following through on expectations set by the GM
- Product ordering and inventory control
- Checking in orders and writing checks
- Ensuring a high quality guest experience
- Guest complaint resolution
- Personnel management & conflict resolution
- Scheduling and staffing for your department
- General cleaning and facilities maintenance
- Overseeing quality control in your department
- Organization of prep, cleaning and duty lists
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to problem solve independently and quick thinking on your feet
- Overseeing and assisting in training set by upper management
- Professional appearance
- Positive attitude and hard work
- Open availably to work including mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays
- Organization & Punctuality
- The drive to "do what it takes" to create positive guest and employee experiences
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Registration with Honolulu Liquor Commission and valid "Blue Card"
- Perform well in high tempo and faced paced restaurant environment
- Valid TB test and Food Safety Certification
