The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll Do
This position will be responsible for issuing and maintaining tools to production support employees.
In This Function You Will
- Perform setup of gages, maintenance and repairs of measuring and test equipment.
- Kit gages for specific production jobs by following FPIP Instructions.
- Follow daily CHIT list for specific jobs to be kitted.
- Use precision measuring equipment, general inspection measuring tools, standard hand tools, records, reports and computer.
- Coordinates the calibration of measuring and test equipment by outside sources.
- Manage gauge calibration program information files including calibration records, inventory, recall periods and history.
- Assist engineering and quality departments in the selection of proper measuring equipment for development and/or purchase.
- Must keep track of all gages going to the shop floor and back to the met lab ,keep up a current inventory list of all gages.
- Follow all 5 S Guidelines.
- Other duties within Machine Shop may be needed on a case by case basis
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year working in a manufacturing environment.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Irvine, CA will be considered for this position.
- This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
- Post high school education in engineering, or machining.
- Previous work experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Previous work experience as a Tool Crib Attendant
- Customer-service oriented
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
