- Assemble electrical wire harnesses according to drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and connect wires and cables.
- Insert wires, terminals, seals, and connectors into the correct positions.
- Use hand tools, crimping tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper connections, workmanship, and quality.
- Perform basic electrical or continuity testing when required.
- Identify and report defective materials or assembly issues.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily quality and productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or wire-harness experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read basic diagrams, work instructions, and measurements.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and move materials as needed.
- Ability to distinguish wire colors and small components.
This position is performed in a manufacturing and production environment. Employees may be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow established safety procedures.
