Our client is seeking a Low Voltage Estimator to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for structured cabling, low voltage infrastructure, and technology systems projects. This is an onsite position based in Bergen County, NJ.

Starting at $100,000/year.

Low Voltage Estimator’s Responsibilities And Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for structured cabling, low voltage infrastructure, and technology systems projects.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to develop accurate project estimates.
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Support the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams throughout the estimating process.

Low Voltage Estimator’s Qualifications And Skills

  • At least 3 years of estimating experience within low voltage, structured cabling, or related construction trades.
  • Experience estimating structured cabling, low voltage infrastructure, and technology systems projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.
  • Knowledge of data center environments is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with clients.
