Position
Accommodations Clerk, Nunavut
Location and Reporting Structure
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accommodations, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Welcome employees and visitors who arrive at the Goose Lake Site and refer them to their room.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for employees, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Maintain a professional image and service-oriented environment to support a positive customer service experience and service excellence at camp.
- Work closely with the Site Personnel Coordinator to ensure proper bed space assignments.
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records of room assignments, vacancies, and employee requests.
- Respond to incidents of noise, unruly behaviour, and guest complaints.
- Report room problems to either the cleaning staff or maintenance department relative to the problem.
- One (1) year of experience in an administrative position in a remote camp environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Completion of primary school, High school diploma is preferred.
- Beginner level knowledge of MS Office Suite and familiarity with INNFINITY software or other similar programs is an asset.
For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $88,881.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $32.25 and overtime rate of $48.38) in a work year.
