Essential Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Knowledge, Skills And Requirements
- Maintaining a clean and groomed appearance in all common areas, including bathrooms, community rooms, and hallways.
- Performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing rugs, stripping, washing, and waxing floors; cleaning glass surfaces and fixtures.
- Assisting with exterior maintenance, including shoveling and sanding walkways and stairs, sweeping, and lawn care beyond contractual obligations.
- Preparing apartments for turnover in accordance with established guidelines.
- Cleaning and maintaining community buildings, laundry rooms, office spaces, maintenance shops, and surrounding grounds.
- Daily collection and disposal of debris throughout the property.
- Cleaning parking lots and dumpster areas to ensure a neat appearance.
- Assisting the Superintendent with basic maintenance repairs.
- Promptly reporting any health, safety, or environmental concerns to management.
- Assisting the Superintendent with all other duties, as requested.
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills And Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) minimum; and at least one year related experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently with a great attention to detail
Knowledge, Skills And Requirements
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock and exposure to pathogens.
- Must be able to travel locally by public or private transportation to make home visits. Valid driver’s license, car registration and insurance as applicable.
