- Set up and operate multiple CNC production processes.
- Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner.
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
- Required to train other operators as needed.
- May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
- Ability to read and interpret production prints.
- Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required duties.
- Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
- Education: Grade 12 diploma
- Experience: Related milling experience or mechanical aptitude
