The General Labourer provides hands-on manual labour to assist all trades, contractors, project and site personnel as directed.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily miscellaneous cleanup of building and site
- Miscellaneous site organization and moving materials
- Heating and Hoarding
- Dewatering
- Temporary Lighting
- Assist apprentices and carpenters
- General labour for other duties as assigned
- Flagging
The General Labourer is required to work outdoors (subject to weather conditions) and indoors as required. Traveling to job sites is required.
Reporting Relationships
Direction Received From:
- Labour Foreperson
- WHMIS
- CSTS an asset but not required
- Fall Arrest an asset but not required
- Flagging training an asset but not required
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
