We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Permit Processor to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
Job Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of land measurement and legal descriptions.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans, site plans, development plans and zoning maps.
- Ability to work effectively with other governmental agencies and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Ability to manage, review and analyze complex processes to continually improve permit application review services.
- Ability to deal tactfully but firmly with customers.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Ability to use personal computers.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Municipal or Construction Administrative Experience preferred.
- 2+ years working in an office and customer service experience.
