Who We’re Looking For

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry? OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Vehicle Check-In Clerk with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with data entry.

Please be advised - This is an afternoon shift - Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm EST

You Are

  • Detail Oriented. You will accurately enter vehicle data into our systems, ensuring vehicles are assigned under the right account.
  • Reliable. As a consistent point of contact for our team and our customers, reliability is a must.
  • Safe. We have a high regard for safety, you should too. This role will require you to perform your work in all types of weather conditions.

You Will

  • Manually enter vehicle information into our inventory management systems, using a computer and a mobile device.
  • Assign inventory stock number, open repair orders, and register vehicles to OPENLANE’s platforms.
  • May assist with other administrative tasks, or tasks related to inventory control including removing license plates, printing window stickers, and responding to inquiries from administrative departments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner

Must Haves

  • A valid Drivers’ license is required
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with OPENLANE’s operations team or in a similar role
  • 1-3 years’ experience in office or general administration
  • Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems
  • Bilingual in French/English

Compensation Range Of

Hourly: $18.00 - $19.50 CAD

(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
