Clean Harbors in Ryley AB is looking for a Facility Technician to join their safety conscious team! This position is responsible for Operating Oil filter crushers, operating a forklift, general shop cleaning, loading and unloading of drums and bins onto vans and flat decks, and working with hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Dumping and cleaning of bins;
  • Operating zoom booms and forklifts to offload flat decks;
  • Operating vacuum and water truck;
  • Verifying paperwork to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Class 3 license preferred, Class 5 is required;
  • Previous forklift, zoom boom, vacuum truck, rock truck experience is an asset;
  • Previous experience in waste industry is an asset;
  • Willing to train the right candidate.
