The Billing Coordinator role at PRI provides comprehensive training in the company’s financial systems, with a particular focus on Deltek, and delivers essential billing support to Project Managers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing, while supporting efficient month-end billing processes and maintaining the overall integrity of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Billing Support & Processing
- Assist with the monthly billing cycle, ensuring internal deadlines are consistently met.
- Generate draft invoices and distribute them to Project Managers (PMs) for review.
- Enter basic data corrections, transfers, and adjustments into the system under supervision.
- Prepare final invoice packages for clients, verifying numerical accuracy and formatting
Data Entry & Administration
- Set up new projects in the financial system, ensuring all contract details are entered
- Maintain organized billing files and digital records for audit and reference purposes.
- Follow up on missing timesheets or expense receipts required for billing.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of Deltek (ERP software).
- Learn foundational project accounting concepts, including budget tracking and Work in
- Collaborate with the Finance team to support continuous improvement of internal billing
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Recent graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration,
- 0–2 years of experience in an office or administrative environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong Excel skills preferred; comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, and
- High attention to detail with a strong aptitude for working with numbers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident engaging with Project
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet recurring
Bonus Qualifications
- Previous exposure to accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., Deltek) is an asset.
- Prior experience in a professional services or project-based environment is an advantage.
