Are you committed to protecting your community? Blackbird Security is seeking to hire Security Guards in Edmonton, AB for a variety of sites (retail, warehouses, residential).

- Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
- Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Complete incident reports for security purposes
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- A Valid Security License is required
- Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken is required
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Willing to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift
- Use of Force Certification is an asset
- Pro Serve and Protect Certifications are an asset
