We are seeking an Logistics Operator to join our team at our Brantford, Ontario bakery. In this role, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility, supporting production flow, inventory accuracy, and on‑time shipping and receiving operations.
Shift and Schedule
- Shift: 12- hour rotating continental (biweekly days and nights)
- Weekend availability: Required per continental schedule
- Hourly Rate: $30.88 plus applicable premiums
- Operate powered industrial equipment to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility
- Support production and logistics operations by supplying materials to picking and production lines
- Execute shipping and receiving activities for raw materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate documentation and system records related to material movement and inventory
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members to address issues and priorities
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production environment
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 2- 3 years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond & high Reach) from a recognized training provider
- Proven written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and perform in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping
- Clear criminal background check (or has received a pardon)
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments
- Experience working in food manufacturing or regulated environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team‑based setting
