Responsibilities
- Perform pickups and deliveries of medications and medical supplies throughout Saskatoon
- Report directly to the Delivery Manager
- Maintain the safety and security of all cargo
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Fuels and cleans the company van regularly
- Updates and utilizes the vehicle maintenance log binder
- Completes delivery documentation and ensures delivery slips are signed and submitted.
- Reports any vehicle issues or service needs to the Delivery Manager
- Postmark and mail all outgoing mail daily
- Completes daily bank deposits.
- Maintain delivery vehicles, including cleanliness, fuel, oil, tires, and general upkeep.
- Lifts and maneuvers large packages as required
- Organizes and distributes merchandise
- Maintains accurate records
- Carries out additional duties assigned by the Delivery Manager
- Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver's licence with a safe driving record for the past 3 years.
- Driver’s abstract (dated within 30 days) required
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the company vehicle.
- Trustworthy and dependable, with a high level of professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members
- Ability to follow procedures and guidelines accurately
- Ability to lift and maneuver large packages
- Criminal Record Check required
- 32 to 40 hours per week (Full-time).
- The regular schedule for this position will be either Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The successful candidate will work 4 to 5 days per week.
- Candidates must be flexible and available to work shifts as needed to support business operations.
