ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- READS AND REVIEWS JOB CARD AND PROCESSES ACCORDING TO DEPARTMENT
- REVIEWS THE WEEKLY WORK IN PROCESS WITH THE SUPERVISOR TO MAKE SURE THE RIGHT ORDERS GO THROUGH THE ASSEMBLY LINE AT THE RIGHT TIME.
- MATCHES WORK FOR OPERATORS BASED ON ORDER NUMBER AND CUT NUMBER.
- FILLS OUT FINDINGS AND TRIM RESTOCK FORM TO REPLACE ANY THREAD AND TRIM THAT IS NEEDED FOR THE CUTS GOING THROUGH THE LINE.
- SIGNS UP MACHINES THAT NEED REPAIRED IF SUPERVISOR IS NOT AVAILABLE.
- COMMUNICATION WITH ALL SEWING OPERATORS.
- ABILITY TO LOOK AHEAD AND PLAN FOR POSSIBLE SLOWDOWNS OR SEWING OPERATORS OUT OF WORK.
- THE SERVICE PERSON ALSO HANDLES RECUTS AND ENTERS THE INFORMATION FROM THE JOB CARD IN TO THE QUALITY COLLECTION PLAN IN ORACLE.
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and comprehend English language instructions
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team
- Good attendance record
- Ability to navigate a computer
- Standing, sitting, walking, bending as needed.
- Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.
- Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
- May be required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones if needed.
- Displays ambitious, positive attitude
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships with site leadership and team mates. May be required to occasionally interact with customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Communicates with site leadership, immediate supervisor and team mates. May occasionally encounter customers and suppliers and corporate staff.
