Advisors spend too much time switching between CRMs, email, calendars, notes, spreadsheets, and manual processes. We're building an AI-powered platform that brings everything together, helping advisory firms spend less time on administrative work and more time serving clients.
We're an early-stage startup, which means everyone wears multiple hats. We value people who enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and jumping in wherever they're needed.
About The Role
We're looking for a Business Operations Coordinator to help keep Verlo running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a true generalist role. One morning you might be organizing founder calendars, the next you could be following up on unpaid invoices, coordinating a vendor, documenting a process, helping prepare for a product launch, or finding a better way to handle an internal workflow.
You'll work closely with the founders across every part of the business, helping eliminate operational bottlenecks so the rest of the team can move faster.
If you enjoy bringing order to chaos, improving processes, and tackling whatever needs to get done, you'll thrive in this role.
What You'll Do
- Provide executive support, including calendar management, travel planning, and meeting coordination
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-up
- Coordinate vendors, software subscriptions, and operational tools
- Help manage recruiting logistics and employee onboarding
- Document and improve internal processes
- Assist with contracts and operational administration
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and off-sites
- Support finance and bookkeeping activities
- Help maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases
- Assist with customer and partner operational requests
- Own special projects across operations, finance, people, and customer success

- 2+ years in operations, executive assistance, office management, finance, project coordination, or another business operations role
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Able to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction
- Naturally proactive—you notice things before they become problems
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Curious, resourceful, and willing to learn new systems quickly
- Startup experience
- Experience supporting executives or founders
- Familiarity with invoicing or accounts receivable
- Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Attio, or modern SaaS platforms
- Experience improving or documenting operational processes
Within your first 90 days, you'll:
- Become the go-to person for day-to-day operational coordination
