What You'll Do
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Execute local procurement activities aligned with sourcing strategies.
- Manage purchase requisitions, spot buys, and purchase orders through company systems.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and risk considerations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Lead local sourcing initiatives, RFQs, and tender processes.
- Conduct market analyses to evaluate supplier competitiveness and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VEVA) opportunities.
- Support the implementation of contracts, agreements, and procurement process improvements.
- Serve as the primary procurement contact for assigned facilities and internal customers.
- Provide guidance throughout the procurement lifecycle and recommend cost-effective alternatives when appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and strategic sourcing teams.
- Identify key users across the organization to develop savings initiatives and improve procurement practices.
- Support production facilities in achieving shared savings and operational goals.
- Participate in global, regional, and local sourcing projects.
- Provide local market intelligence to category managers and strategic sourcing teams.
- Track procurement KPIs and drive compliance with negotiated contracts and purchasing policies.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to deliver sourcing excellence and business value.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1- 5 years of experience in Purchasing
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- ERP system knowledge, preferably JDE and/or Coupa
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Availability to travel as required
- This position replaces an existing role
- Salary range for the role: $59,000 to $74.000 annually
