Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, Crew Scheduling the successful candidate will function as a Crew Scheduler in the Cargojet Control Centre (CCC).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform Crew Scheduling duties in the Cargojet YHM CMC operations for rotating shifts.
- Monitor operations to determine required adjustments to crewing needs and the effects on subsequent staffing requirements.
- Arrange transport and hotel requirements during irregular operations.
- Staff short-notice charters and other non-planned flights if required.
- Responding to phone and email inquires in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Customer Service experience required.
- Previous flight operations experience an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset.
- Working knowledge of VMO or other scheduling software an asset.
- Ability to work irregular hours and shift patterns.
- Ability to work well under time and resource constraints within a team environment.
- Ability to make crucial decisions under pressure with minimal supervision.
