Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in London, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Professional - Mall

Job Location: London, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $ 23.00 per hour

Shifts : Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; (06:30-18:30; 07:00-19:00; 07:30-19:30); Overnight shifts follow same pattern, subject to change.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in London, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirement:

  • Familiarity with access control systems and alarm systems.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • A valid G class driver's licence and a clear drivers abstract is mandatory.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience with report writing and note-taking.
  • Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions :

  • Provide access control for the facility and designated areas.
  • Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly image at all times.
  • Manage conflicts and incidents effectively and de-escalate situations when necessary.
  • Conduct patrols and follow site protocols as outlined in the post orders, including indoor and outdoor patrols and managing the movement of guests throughout the property.
  • Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
  • Complete all site-specific training and follow the direction and guidance of the Site Supervisor or Manager.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, common sense, and decision-making abilities, particularly when required to take charge and direct others during emergencies or incidents.
  • Maintain meticulous records and reports, utilizing strong observation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Operate and monitor security room equipment and complete all required site training.
