Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of building maintenance tasks for MERC properties in the areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, general maintenance, and locksmith duties.
- Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities.
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed.
- Perform minor sheetrock repairs.
- Investigate and prioritize facilities-related work orders and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.
- Move, assemble, and arrange furniture and equipment per room set-up specifications.
- Communicate with various employees to keep them informed about repair work that impacts them.
- Follow safety rules and provide aid/support in emergency situations.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities in related areas as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with general maintenance.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
- Must have good organizational skills to manage the heavy workload.
