P1: Monday to Friday 11.30 to 1930
P2: Saturday and Sunday 1330-2130
Responsibilities For Government Building Security Guard
- Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterent, and report writing/note taking.
- Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
- Assist with access control and monitor individuals within the building.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.
- Conduct regular interior and Exterior patrols of the building.
- Manage crowds and ensure safety
- Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical situations, or security breaches.
- Access control & technology proficiency required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Customer service oriented
- Be able to work Afernoon shifts
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
