As a General Labourer, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your Day-to-day
- Load materials into production equipment and assist with machine setup according to established procedures.
- Verify work orders, material specifications, and product condition before production begins.
- Inspect product quality throughout production and promptly report defects or concerns to the Operator.
- Support Operators with machine operation and other production-related activities.
- Complete production records, maintenance requests, and required administrative reports accurately and on time.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and regulatory requirements while completing other assigned duties as directed by the Shift Lead.
You Are a Natural Fit For This Role If
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labour work is an asset.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work throughout the shift.
- Able to work safely, follow instructions, and work well as part of a team.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise and temperature levels.
