  • We choose thoughtful solutions even when it’s not easy.

What You’ll Do

The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a strategic and execution-oriented role that helps scale the effectiveness, alignment, and operating rhythm of The Good Crisp Company as we enter our next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll serve as a trusted partner across the leadership team, helping turn strategy into execution while improving accountability, communication, and follow-through across the business.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, project management, and executive support. You'll help keep the company focused on its most important priorities by coordinating leadership initiatives, improving operating cadence, managing critical projects, and ensuring the CEO and leadership team remain aligned as the business continues to grow.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across all areas of the business. You enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, building systems that scale, and helping leaders operate more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO to help prioritize time, focus, and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate leadership team operating rhythms, including meeting agendas, action tracking, follow-up, and communication flow.
  • Help drive accountability across the organization by tracking priorities, commitments, and key deliverables.
  • Project manage high-priority company initiatives and ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned and on track.
  • Prepare executive presentations, leadership meeting materials, board materials, and strategic planning documents.
  • Build and maintain company dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive scorecards.
  • Organize and facilitate leadership offsites, strategic planning sessions, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Identify execution bottlenecks, organizational gaps, and opportunities to improve operating effectiveness.
  • Improve visibility into company priorities, risks, timelines, and progress.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and leadership team on organizational effectiveness and execution.

Who You Are

  • You have extensive experience partnering directly with CEOs/executive leadership on a day-to-day basis.
  • You love managing systems, with experience building operating systems and new processes from scratch.
  • You build trust with others easily and quickly.
  • You are highly organized and naturally create structure in fast-moving environments.
  • You balance strategic thinking with a strong bias toward execution and follow-through.
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous challenges.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders and can influence without formal authority.
  • You are exceptionally strong at prioritization, project management, and keeping multiple initiatives moving simultaneously.
  • You enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams operate more effectively.
  • You are low ego, highly trustworthy, and comfortable operating behind the scenes to help others succeed.
  • You thrive in entrepreneurial environments where priorities evolve quickly and no two days look the same.
  • You are energized by the opportunity to help build and scale a high-growth company.

What You'll Bring

  • 5-8+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Executive Operations, or similar role.
  • Experience working closely with senior executives or leadership teams in a high-growth company environment.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, reporting, strategic planning materials, and leadership communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize information and identify actionable insights.
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and professional maturity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Communications, or a related field preferred
