This is the most senior BMS leadership role in the country, with full P&L accountability and end-to-end responsibility for commercial strategy, market access, and organizational leadership, all in service of expanding patient access to innovative medicines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategic plans for Mexico, fully aligned with LATAM and global priorities.
  • Lead an integrated commercialization strategy to expand patient access and maximize impact across public and private segments.
  • Provide end-to-end leadership across all commercial functions (sales, marketing, market access), ensuring strong cross-functional execution.
  • Serve as the primary external representative of BMS in Mexico, engaging federal and state authorities, payers, healthcare institutions, KOLs, and industry associations.
  • Shape the external policy landscape proactively to enable access, reimbursement, and long-term business sustainability.
  • Build and lead a high-performing organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusion.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, ethical, and corporate standards.
  • Contribute as a member of the LATAM Leadership Team, shaping regional strategy and priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, with significant experience in Mexico or a similarly complex emerging market.
  • Proven track record in commercial leadership, including full P&L management.
  • Demonstrated success launching and commercializing pharmaceutical products across public and private market segments.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional and matrix organizations across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and external engagement capabilities with government, institutional, and industry audiences.
