What You Will Be Doing
- Required to paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of our building.
- Engages in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, snow removal, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves, and refuse.
- Performs the general cleaning and upkeep of the bakery, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, plumbing and washing windows.
- Assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
- Adheres to company policies and safety regulations.
- Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- This position requires 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience and a mechanical aptitude
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with ability to improve and promote quality and safety
- Must demonstrate excellent trouble shooting skills
- Ability to recognize and encourage the behaviors that contribute to teamwork
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all associates in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work on their own
