Media Manager, Consumer Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop data-informed media strategies grounded in business objectives, audience insights, and marketplace trends — forming and validating hypotheses using past performance, research, and competitive intelligence
- Define media strategy briefs including campaign parameters, audience and channel strategies, and testing/learning agendas
- Build integrated, multi-channel media plans spanning digital, TV/CTV, audio, OOH, paid social, and custom programs
- Champion executional rigor by guiding agency partners on platform setup, targeting strategies, bid management, and in-flight optimization
- Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot execution issues, and drive continuous optimization across channels
- Partner with Decision Science to develop measurement plans, learning agendas, and testing frameworks that inform future strategy and investment
- Manage agency relationships with a focus on strategic partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement in activation quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Global Media, Marketing, Insights, Decision Science, Creative, and MarTech to deliver integrated, high-impact programs
- Define, document, and evolve media best practices and scalable frameworks that improve team efficiency and media effectiveness
- Project-manage complex workstreams and deliverables across multiple concurrent programs
- Provide thought leadership on the evolving media landscape and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership
- Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve planning efficiency, streamline reporting, and scale the team's output
- Contribute to building the team's identity and culture — mentoring peers, sharing learnings, and strengthening cross-functional relationships
- 7+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, or buying — either at an agency, client-side, or media/ad tech organization
- Experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel media strategies across digital, video, social, and emerging channels
- Understanding of programmatic media buying, including platform mechanics, audience/data management, and optimization levers
- Experience managing media agency partners to deliver against both strategic and executional standards
- Proven ability to form strategic hypotheses and build media frameworks grounded in data and marketplace knowledge
- Experience with media measurement and analytics — including methodologies such as brand lift, conversion lift, A/B testing, and MMM
- Project management skills with experience managing multiple campaigns in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize media workflows, improve efficiency, or enhance planning processes
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and driving clarity through structure
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Hands-on experience with major demand-side platforms and programmatic buying tools
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Programmatic and Social Platform Certifications
- Experience at a media holding company or full-service agency with exposure to large brand accounts
- Demonstrated interest in emerging AI/ML applications across the media lifecycle
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Understanding of ad operations, trafficking, and platform-level campaign configuration
