Job Description
The custodian responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by performing general custodial duties throughout the facility. This role supports warehouse operations by cleaning work areas, operating cleaning equipment, handling waste and recyclable materials, and working in temperature-controlled environments. This is a warehouse custodial position only and does not include restroom or office cleaning
Shifts
Third Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM
Third Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $24.36 - $24.36 per hour
Pay Scale: Not applicable
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate ride-on electric walkies (double walkie) as required.
- Operate a sit-down floor scrubber ("Zamboni") to clean warehouse floors.
- Clean up product spills promptly and safely.
- Empty cardboard, plastic wrap, and garbage into designated compactors.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse work areas.
- Perform custodial duties in cooler (approximately 4°C) and freezer (-20°C) environments.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in cold environments, including cooler and freezer areas.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse cleaning equipment (training provided).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform physical custodial tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned overnight schedule.
- Cooler/freezer suits and gloves will be provided.
- All equipment and machine operation training will be provided.
