A leading life sciences real estate investment and development platform is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Acquisitions team. This highly technical role will support the underwriting, evaluation, diligence, and execution of investment opportunities across a growing portfolio of life sciences assets. The position offers significant exposure to acquisitions, development projects, portfolio strategy, and senior investment professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel and ARGUS to evaluate acquisition and development opportunities
- Analyze prospective investments through cash flow modeling, valuation, market research, and sensitivity analysis
- Track market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and transaction activity across key life sciences real estate markets
- Assist in preparing investment committee presentations and supporting materials for senior leadership
- Coordinate due diligence efforts with brokers, consultants, legal advisors, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
- Review transaction-related documentation, including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.
- Support acquisitions from initial screening through closing and asset transition
- Contribute to portfolio-level reporting, asset analysis, and strategic investment initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, investment banking, investment sales, capital markets, or a related investment-oriented real estate role
- Strong academic track record from a highly regarded university
- Advanced financial modeling, underwriting, and valuation experience
- Proficiency in Excel required; ARGUS experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience at a leading real estate investment manager, developer, owner/operator, investment bank, or advisory platform is highly preferred
- Exposure to institutional-quality commercial real estate, including office, industrial, life sciences, or related asset classes, is preferred
