Position overview
It is the goal of our Credit team to provide internal and external clients credit support. The Credit Analyst provides credit support to the team of Portfolio Managers and Loan Officers by completing financial spreads and global cash flows. Over time, the Credit Analyst will assist Portfolio Managers by underwriting commercial loans, analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing borrowers. The Credit Analyst may participate in the daily flow and operations of the Credit Department by handling administrative duties, providing information and analysis when requested, and coordinating special projects when needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service; providing premiere client satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
- Prepares all required financial spreads.
- Completes global cash flows and assesses repayment ability.
- Analyzes and opines on renewals and new loan requests of commercial loans through complete analysis.
- Communicates effectively with all levels of Bank staff and tailors communication (e.g. content, style and medium) to diverse audiences.
- Responds to client and co-worker needs in a timely and professional manner to accomplish daily tasks with minimal supervision while consistently meeting service standards.
- Will work independently and interdependently to promptly and efficiently complete work assignments that meet pre-determined standards and ensure quality of work.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4- Year Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BS or BA), preferably with a business or finance focus or equivalent combination of education and experience in the finance field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to loan documentation and financial statements (general knowledge of the different financial statements and documents)
- Adept at learning new software programs (previous experience with a variety of different software programs)
