System Administrator
Job Description
Ndeipi.com is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. Your goal will be to ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Work You’ll Do
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
- Manage and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Perform system and network security audits.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
