Human Resources Director

A growing Southern California organization is seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Director to lead all HR operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong teams, improving employee engagement, and driving organizational success through effective people strategies.

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and executing HR initiatives that support business objectives while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all human capital matters.
• Lead employee relations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Direct talent acquisition efforts, workforce planning, and succession planning strategies.
• Oversee employee onboarding, retention, engagement, and recognition programs.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop leadership training and professional development programs.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations that support organizational goals.
• Guide organizational change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor HR team members while promoting a service-oriented HR function.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance.
• Demonstrated success managing employee relations and organizational development initiatives.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on strategic business decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
