A New York-headquartered private equity firm specializing in credit and special situations secondaries is seeking to add a Junior team member to its deal team immediately. The firm has a strong track record in acquiring and managing secondary interests in credit-focused private funds, offering junior professionals meaningful responsibility and broad exposure across sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio management within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The Role
As part of the deal team, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing investments, working closely with senior team members across diligence and execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2-4 years of full-time professional work experience:
- Must currently be in a buy-side investing role, either direct investing or secondaries investing
- Preference for 1-2 years of M&A Investment Banking experience prior
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with a strong emphasis on contributing to and maintaining a positive company culture.
- Strong cultural fit and communication skills are essential
- Must be authorized to work in the US; the firm is unable to provide sponsorship
