Managing Director, Client Solutions - Texas Region
Position Summary:
The Managing Director, Client Solutions will serve as a senior relationship executive responsible for a portfolio of institutional and private clients throughout Texas. This individual will partner closely with investment professionals and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional client experience, deepen existing relationships, and support regional business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
- Act as the senior relationship lead for a portfolio of institutional and private clients.
- Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead ongoing client engagement efforts, including regular reviews, strategic discussions, feedback sessions, and issue resolution.
- Identify evolving client needs and connect them with relevant firm capabilities and solutions.
- Serve as an advocate for clients internally, ensuring responsiveness, alignment, and effective execution across teams.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients by understanding their objectives, constraints, and long-term priorities.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Texas region.
- Identify, cultivate, and advance new business opportunities across relevant investor segments.
- Represent the firm through client meetings, conferences, networking events, and industry engagements.
- Expand the firm's presence and brand recognition within the regional market.
- Support proposal preparation, finalist presentations, and onboarding activities for prospective clients.
- Maintain disciplined tracking of client activity, relationships, and business development efforts.
- Provide leadership with updates on client engagement, retention metrics, pipeline activity, and market developments.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or professional designation preferred.
- 15-20+ years of experience in institutional relationship management, investment advisory, business development, asset management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success managing sophisticated investor relationships and contributing to new business growth.
- Experience working with family offices, foundations, endowments, pensions, and other institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of investment management and the ability to engage in complex investment discussions with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and execution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas and periodically across broader markets.
