As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of the web-based applications that are part of our cutting edge cloud-native Legion Engine. You will be responsible for both the architectural design and implementation of the applications. You will work closely with the UI/UX design and development team to build pipelines necessary for games productions. You will interact with other domains to deliver specific applications that meets their requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of new web-based applications and pipelines
- Enhancing existing applications to deliver requested features
- Helping to create the most efficient video game development environment in the industry
- Writing well designed, well tested, and properly documented code
- Cooperating with the designers
- 4+ years web development experience
- Deep understanding of web-based user interface technologies
- Experience with CI/CD systems
- Understanding of build systems
- Excellent knowledge of version control systems
- Experience with one of the following frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte
- Comfortable with TypeScript or with another typed language
- Good knowledge of CSS, with or without preprocessors
- Good knowledge of Rust
- Experience with open source and GitHub, or equivalent
- Understanding of cloud-based development and streaming considerations
- Experience with a AAA Engine
- Experience with various communication protocols like gRPC-web, webrtc, etc.
- Meaningful experience working on a complex and demanding client application
- Having used Tailwind or another “atomic” CSS library in the past
