We are seeking experienced Field Inspectors (Grading / Earthworks) to represent the Owner’s interests, ensuring high-quality delivery, contract compliance, and efficient project execution.

Location: Alberta
Note: Valid Class 5 driver's license and personal vehicle required for specific on-site roles.
Education
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years in grading, excavation, and earthworks inspection
- Experience with roadway or corridor construction projects
- Inspection of: Excavation and compaction; Subgrade and granular placement
- Interpretation of drawings and specs
- Field reporting and QA documentation
- Large-scale grading and earthworks construction
- Transportation corridor and infrastructure development
- Contractor oversight, QA/QC, and compliance monitoring
- Represent the Owner on-site and in project coordination
- Ensure compliance with: Drawings, specifications, safety and regulatory standards
- Monitor: Schedule, budget, and quality
- Support contract administration and reporting
- P.Eng., EIT, or CET (APEGA) for senior/technical roles
- Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid)
- Relevant QA/QC or materials certifications
- $80,000 – $110,000 annually (avg ~ $99K)
