Bookkeeping at Notanobo doesn't look like bookkeeping anywhere else. Bookkeeping is our function but tech is in our DNA. We have a suite of home-grown internal tools that help speed up the bookkeeping process and obliterate manual work.

Our contractor positions are completely flexible. Some contractors work a compressed schedule while others work throughout the week. This role is fully remote; however, we do have regional requirements.
The Position
This is a contractor role which will start at approximately 15 to 25 hours a week. Hours will be flexible but will be between the working hours of 8am to 5pm. There is the possibility for this role to convert to full-time as the company grows if desired.
What You Will Be Doing
The largest chunk of the role will be spent bookkeeping for a variety of companies ranging from turbocharged startups to small brick and mortars.
You will spend the largest amount of your time bookkeeping and communicating with clients through email/zoom/telephone. The remainder of your time will be spent learning, engaging with the team and diving in where help is needed.
Experience Level
Candidate Profile
- You have a minimum of three years experience at a public practice accounting firm in a bookkeeping or accounting role and/or have a CPA or CPB.
- You’ve completed a BCom, BBA or Diploma with a focus on accounting.
- You are an articulate communicator, proficient in both verbal and written English.
- You have the ability to juggle multiple projects without losing focus of timelines, progress, and communication.
- You are resourceful, flexible and a quick learner.
- You thrive on change and you're excited about making a real difference.
