General Summary

The Brand Marketing Specialist, reporting to Brand Strategy Manager, supports the Marketing Department through the timely and accurate development and execution of all brand-related marketing activities effectively, consistent with established objectives as defined by the National Manager, Marketing and Brand Strategy Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Digital Product Contents Management (kia.ca / 3D content)
    • Lead the development and maintenance of vehicle content on kia.ca in collaboration with the Agency of Record (AOR) and web team, ensuring alignment with Kia brand standards, messaging, tone, and visual identity across all customer-facing materials.
    • Manage the end-to-end delivery of 3D vehicle content in partnership with external vendors, including specification reviews, asset quality control, project timeline management, budget tracking, and on-time deployment.

  • Product Lifecycle & Content Management
    • Oversee product lifecycle marketing activities, including Model Year (MY) updates, carryovers, facelifts (FMC), and Product Enhancement (PE) transitions, ensuring all product-related marketing content remains accurate, current, and compliant.
    • Participate in cross-functional Vehicle Launch Readiness meetings to support MY transition, identify kia.ca content requirements, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

  • Brand / Product Campaign support
    • Partner with Marketing Managers and the Agency of Record (AOR) to support the development of creative briefs, media plans, and integrated marketing campaigns across television, print, out-of-home (OOH), digital, and emerging channels.
    • Coordinate campaign execution to ensure adherence to Kia brand guidelines, manage approval workflows, and support the successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
    • Assist in the planning and execution of Tier 1 product marketing activities, including digital marketing tactics, performance tracking, and budget management.

  • Communications, Reporting & Special Projects (Ad hoc)
    • Develop and manage dealer communications, including bulletins, policy updates, and other network communications to support business objectives and product initiatives.
    • Additional reporting and presentation development responsibilities as required.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement

  • Experience in auto industry is a strong asset i.e. OEM, dealership, etc.
  • Post Secondary diploma/degree in Marketing and/or related field.
  • The position requires a high degree of attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
