Who are we?

The ScareFactory is located in eastern Columbus, Ohio. We create fantastic animated creatures for film, tv, and the amusement park / attractions industry. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to fill full-time positions within our company. What’s the Job?

Our Art Department creates countless projects throughout the year, and breathes life into our characters and scenery. The Concept Artist creates illustrations for our client projects in a timely manner. The illustrations will mostly be pencil sketches, and range from architectural perspective drawings of haunted houses and attractions to creature and prop ideas for our line of catalog products. During the time that our Concept Artist is not creating illustrations, they will be working with our Art Department to bring the props to life. This is not strictly an office type position. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Requirements

Because this is a unique industry we do not require specific experience, but a portfolio of 2D and/or 3D work is required. Portfolios containing creatures or haunted house themes will be given preference, and creative employment experience is preferred. The ability to work and cooperate as a team member is a must.
