About The Position

Walters is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who are seeking a position that will provide skill growth and development.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Labourer will be responsible for but not limited to:

Read and interpret work orders.
Loads and unloads trailers, as required, to Walters Standards.
Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
May cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
Completes project specific tasks as assigned and required.
Performs housekeeping tasks as assigned.
Assists in the movement of material in the plant/property by use of crane, forklift, etc.

Work Location:

Hamilton Facility.

Position Requirements

Demonstrated ability to learn in a fast pace environment.
Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills and able to work well with others as part of a team.
Able to adapt and complete tasks as priorities change.
Strong time management skills and work ethic.

Compensation Package

Wage: $20.00-$24.00/hour
