Scope:
The Final Inspector will inspect printed circuit boards (PCB) for flaws that may have been manufactured into the product during processing using magnifying equipment and a back light.
Shift: Midnight (11:00pm - 7:15am)
Wednesday to Sunday
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of visual inspection related to printed circuit boards using magnification equipment.
- Segregate and identify circuit boards with flaws.
- Inspect each board and identify the errors causing the defects.
- Perform minor rework/repairs to identified defects.
- Perform final count of acceptable and rejected boards.
- Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor in cases of discrepancy.
- Complete reject report, sign traveler and input data into final log
- Obtain final report package and move to the shipping department
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Understand basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required
- Limited use in understanding prints and specifications
- Ability to visually verify fine detail work
- Ability to understand and follow directions regarding inspecting printed circuit boards
- Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit boards (approx. 5-10 lbs)
- Minimum of one year experience inspecting printed circuit boards
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

The expected base annual compensation range, in CAD, for this position is as follows:
$37,567 - $59,380
Please note that due to Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements, all applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident in Canada.
