About You
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our 8-month Driver Programme, with opportunities available nationally. You’ll be delivering our products across the region, keeping projects moving and customers smiling. This role is suitable for those who enjoy driving and engaging with multiple customers.. Think of yourself as a vital link in the chain: keeping things efficient, safe, and top-notch every step of the way. And don’t worry, we’ve got your back with full training on everything you need to know, from our products to our processes, so you can hit the ground running with confidence.
About Your Future
As a Trainee Driver , you won’t just learn the ropes, you’ll learn from the best. You’ll be paired with experienced in-house Transport Supervisors and Mentors who’ll guide you every step of the way, sharing all the insider know-how—from mastering daily safety checks and getting to know your vehicle inside out, to confidently navigating customer sites and making smooth, professional deliveries. And most importantly, they’ll show you how to do it all while making sure you get Home, Safe and Well, every single day.
By the end of your journey, you won’t just have experience—you’ll have your CPC licence in your pocket and a clear road ahead with Breedon. That means the opportunity to stay, grow, and build a long-term career with us.
You’ll start with a salary of £31,700, rising to £35,800 once you’ve completed your training—because we believe in recognising your progress as you power up your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the face of the business—professional, friendly, and reliable every step of the way
- Learn the ropes through our comprehensive training programme.
- Drive safely, legally, and with confidence at all times.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep everything road ready.
- Load, scan, and deliver products with precision and care.
- Stay on track with routes, timings, and top-tier service.
- Use PPE and equipment like a pro—safety always comes first.
- Handle customer interactions smoothly and professionally.
Applicants must be 18 or over and have a minimum of 12 months UK driving experience, and as a minimum have;
- Category B licence
