What You’ll Do
- Loading and unloading of cargo, materials, supplies and equipment
- Shoveling, snow removal
- Assisting other trades onsite
- General site maintenance, including assisting in maintaining an orderly worksite
- Painting and light maintenance
- Fueling vehicles
- Running errands, processing deliveries
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATE(S) / LICENSE(S):
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to obtain Reliability level security clearance
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Past work experience related to Labourer functions, Customer Service, or a related job area
- Knowledge of Basic Safety Regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires ability to adapt to changing tasks and locations.
- Ability to integrate successfully into a small, multi-cultural and team-oriented department
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required
- Ability to work under physically demanding, often adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations
- The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.

ROTATION & OVERTIME: 6weeks in/6weeks out rotation (48-hour workweeks) with overtime at 1.5x your base rate. Paid travel days (up to 2 days) with all travel costs covered.
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS : Private accommodation with meals, Wi-Fi, TV, laundry facilities, and recreation.

ADDITIONAL PERKS: Arctic clothing and annual safety footwear allowance of $175. $500 referral bonus for eligible positions.

VACATION PAY : 6% for employees under five years and 8% for those with over five years of tenure
NORTHERN LIVING ALLOWANCE : Additional biweekly allowance for employees residing in designated northern communities: Inuvik, Cambridge Bay, Sanirajak, and Iqaluit.
