We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Dietetics and be skilled in developing nutrition care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
This role involves working closely with patients in various settings, including acute care, geriatrics, and long-term care facilities.
The Dietitian will utilize their expertise in physiology and diagnostic evaluation to promote health and wellness through effective dietary practices.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, focusing on their specific dietary needs and health conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans that align with patients' health goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding weight loss strategies and healthy eating habits. Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics and nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans within the systems used by the facility. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to dietary services.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
Experience in acute care, geriatrics, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques for assessing nutritional status. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate diverse populations effectively. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes. Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
