Looking for a motivated individual to be part of our very busy Family Health Team. Successful candidate must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This person will need to be able to multitask.
Candidate must be able to work one evening and a rotating Saturday shift. Candidates need not apply if you are not available for these shifts.
$19.00/hr.
Medical Secretary Duties Include
– Answering multiple phone lines
– Checking in patients and ensuring demographics are correct
– Assisting patients
– Scanning documents/Efax, Telus PSSuite EMR
– Booking for multiple providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, etc.
Clinic Assistant Duties Include
– assisting with patient flow by escorting patients to room and ensuring that they are prepared for the physician
– Monitor appointment schedule to ensure flow
– Ensure rooms are clean and stocked with supplies
– Prepare information packages
– Ensure medical supplies are well-organized, dispose of expired samples, etc.
– Call patients to schedule appointments
40 hours/week.
This position includes evening shifts and a rotating Saturday shift.
